Right Sides Who Got the Job Done at Katy United Pre-Nationals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are only a few weeks left in the club volleyball season, which will come to an end at the start of July with the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Between now and then, teams continue to compete all over the country, and Texas is no different. A well-rounded player who can contribute in multiple positions, she was among the ones who featured on the right and stood out with her consistency. Very technical, Furlan showed great resources on offense, using them to find solutions to inaccurate sets. She was on the court only for the three rotations at the net, but still made a big impact for them, especially on offense. Tall and powerful, McCabe was one of the team's main scoring options, connecting with the ball at a very high point from both the right and the left and showing excellent decision-making to alternate hard-driven swings and well-placed shots. A tall and physical player, she demonstrated solid offensive potential, making contact with the ball at a very high point and hitting it hard from both the right and the left. Gotsch, who also had a solid blocking presence at the net, demonstrated great awareness when dealing with tight or low sets, using smart tips to put the ball down. A very technical player, she didn't feature as a typical right side hitter, instead helping her team in different areas with her excellent all-around game. Zhang was very active defensively at the right back position, using her superior ball control to dig numerous balls, and also stepped up to be a big part of her team's serve-receive system.
