Texas Setters to Watch At Nationals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The biggest moment of the season has arrived for club volleyball teams from all over the country, as, starting on Thursday, the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship will take place in Indiana.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The tournament that will crown the national champions in the U14, U15, U16 and U17 age groups will reunite as many as 2,119 teams at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium until July 3, with 24 divisions in competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dozens of Texas teams will make the trip up North, and the absolute best players from the Lone Star State will be in action over the next few days trying to help their teams cap their seasons off with national titles. She has excellent setting hands and uses her body very well when making contact with the ball, be it to deliver quicker sets or to make it get to the pin in out-of-system plays. Weiner also does a very good job of adjusting when passes don't go exactly towards her, keeping her body shape intact and not giving away where she's going to set. A six-footer, she's a very promising setter who has been making constant progress in every area of her game. Her playmaking is really intriguing because she makes the most of her height to speed things up without missing on accuracy and likes to move her hitter around and make it difficult for opposing blockers. Her game is very steady and reliable, and setters know exactly what they're going to get with her accurate locations and cerebral distribution. Bergstedt has excellent body control and can execute difficult sets with tight passes, while also standing out for her ability to switch against the flow with remarkable precision. Regarded as one of the top setters in the country in her age group, she combines superior technical skills and a very high volleyball IQ to run her team's offense very efficiently. Garcia thrives with her distribution, and by not giving away where she's going to set early, she consistently gets her hitters in great spots to put the ball down. As a setter, she makes an impact with her ability to fully control the game, as no matter where the pass goes, it feels like Richard could set anyone with amazing precision. She's very intelligent with her distribution and does a great job of keeping all her hitters 'hot' during matches, making it harder for opponents to anticipate her plays.
