The path to Gold Bracket play at Prep Dig's Gauntlet was anything but easy, requiring teams to consistently perform against some of the strongest competition in the region. Behind many of those successful runs were athletes who stepped up in critical moments and provided the leadership, production, and consistency their teams needed to advance. From dominant middles and dynamic outside hitters to floor generals orchestrating high-powered offenses, these 13 standouts played significant roles in helping their teams secure a place in Sunday's Gold Bracket. Their performances throughout day 1 reinforced why they are among the top players to watch in the 17s division.

Sophia Abdullah | Chicago Elite 17 | MB

Sophia Abdullah was a major factor in Chicago Elite's push into Gold Bracket play, providing a consistent presence in the middle throughout the tournament.
