The USA Volleyball Junior National Club Championship brings together the best club programs in the country under one roof in Indianapolis, and Prep Dig will be on the floor to scout the field from the very start. As part of the pre-tournament showcase on June 24th at the Indiana Convention Center, several Prep Dig state-ranked prospects and those who are currently unranked but also very intriguing prospects to be from across the country will step onto the court before the main event begins. College coaches looking to get an early read on the next wave of talent would do well to circle the following names before the tournament tipping schedule fills their notebooks. Let's take a look at a few of the names who will be in attendance.

Miss McIver is a player we have seen for a while as I cover the Texas market extensively. Watching her highlight reel footage over the past two years, we have seen some amazing growth in her game and that is why we added her to the official Watch List. The watch list designation at this stage of her career signals a player whose decision-making and ball control are already trending ahead of her peers. What evaluators in Indianapolis should track closely is her footwork getting to the second ball, the consistency of her hand position at release, and whether her tempo choices show variety. Setters who combine early height with clean technical habits tend to climb quickly once their recruitment window opens. We are high on her ceiling and think that she deserves tons of looks.

Elianna is a 5'8" outside hitter in the 2030 class that has a frame that allows her real margin for physical development over the next several years. The traits worth tracking on June 24th are her approach footwork, the consistency of her contact point, and how she reads block timing when facing bigger attackers at the net. Being on the official watch list in her state this early suggests a player whose tools are already turning heads. We are definitely going to be watching her closely at both the showcase and also during the tournament. I know the scouts in Wisconsin very well and they have a great eye for talent. I am very eager to see in person what they see on her.

At 5'10", [player_tooltip player_id='938492' first='Brylee' last='Bain'] has the kind of length at the outside hitter position that immediately draws attention and she is developing within a Tennessee program that has built a consistent record of producing all-state caliber talent at multiple positions. I have not seen many players from the Tennessee area and am going to study her skill set very closely to get acquainted with her. The state champion has one heck of an arm swing with tons of power generated during her down swing. After watching her film, I am eager to see how she fares against top competition from across the country. Stay tuned for more as I report on her play.
