Prep Dig continued its partnership with USA Volleyball at the Girls Junior National Championship Showcase Session I, held at the Indiana Convention Center on June 24th. The event brought together athletes from across the nation looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. Let's take a closer look at three players who earned Top Performer honors based on what they showed on the court.

Eviana Hackett made the trip to Indianapolis from Delaware and made every second count. She earned a Top Performer award by competing with a level of intensity and focus that court coaches noticed from the first position drills. Her reads in the back row were sharp. Her platform stayed consistent even when the game sped up around her and she never let a difficult ball turn into a lost point without a fight. The sportsmanship she brought throughout the day was the kind that makes coaches want a player in their program regardless of position. She is a player worth knowing well before her recruitment truly opens. Both scouts and court coaches noticed her footwork all over the court and how balanced she was prior to contact. Please help me congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase.

Emma is a 2028 setter with a Prep Dig state ranking already on her resume that speaks to how she has been evaluated within Indiana's club system. At the showcase she added a Top Performer award to that list. What stood out to court coaches throughout the day was not one specific thing but the overall picture: clean footwork, consistent sets, and a tempo sense that is genuinely ahead of where most players her age are operating. She managed the offense around unfamiliar hitters without hesitation and earned the trust of her teammates quickly. I loved how soft her hands were when she contacted and delivered the ball to each location. They were perfect mirror-images of each other and you can tell how much work she has put into her craft. Please help me congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='768588' first='Eliana' last='Butler'] came to the showcase as a 2030 setter with promise and left as a Top Performer amongst some really talented players. At 5'8", she already has the frame that makes college coaches want to track a setter early and the way she carried herself throughout the event showed maturity that did not match her class year. Her footwork getting to the pass was clean and super fast. Her sets had great location that made her hitters' jobs so much easier. And when things did not go perfectly, she reset quickly and kept the system moving. The court coaches evaluating her throughout the day were consistent in their feedback and the leadership she showed in a group of athletes she was meeting for the first time was one of the more impressive things about her day. Please help me congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase.
