This group did just that, often in the club season's final tournament, when players put it all together. It wasn't just finishing the points; they had a really good sense of what it takes to score against good competition. These hitters consistently found ways to get the ball on the floor, whether it was recognizing the block and attacking open space, making smart decisions in transition, or staying aggressive in out-of-system situations.

More than the body count set them apart. That's how they got those kills. They saw the court, adjusted their swings, attacked with purpose, and continued to make high-level decisions as the game picked up. That's the kind of volleyball intelligence that makes a difference, and these are the hitters who provided a clinic when their teams needed them most.

[player_tooltip player_id='733235' first='Addison' last='Hackel'] made it look natural from the left pin. She was open in transition, attacked from a high contact point, and consistently finished against a disciplined block. What stood out most was her progression in the match, as she took advantage of the defense rather than using the same swing in every rally. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Lauren Bell continued to apply pressure on opposing defenses with a complete offensive game. She got her foot in the door early, read the block patiently, and then confidently attacked the open court. But she could score in the system and still make a play when it broke down, making her one of the tougher hitters to defend. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Siri Messelt was one of the most complete attackers I saw throughout the tournament. She impacted the match in every phase, from first-touch passing to being a constant terminal attacker on the left pin. One rally that I remember was when she defended the first ball, went right into her approach, and then let loose a down-the-line swing that caught the defense leaning cross-court. That was her game in a nutshell. She was always available, attacked from a high contact point, and made effective decisions against a disciplined block, whether driving the ball deep, working high hands, or changing angles to find the floor. Her volleyball IQ, transition timing, and ability to put up points in big moments made her one of the most impressive hitters I evaluated during the event. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1004083' first='Lanee' last='Hams'] demonstrated why an effective middle does much more than finish quick sets. She was available through transition, established herself early at the net, and attacked first tempo with great timing. What really stood out to me was how she kept the opposing blockers in the middle, opening opportunities not only for herself but also for her pin hitters. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

From the first whistle, Avery Amsden displayed a scorer's mentality. She attacked with purpose, moved around the block, and consistently found ways to finish rallies without making difficult swings. The more I saw of her, the more I could see her IQ for the game. She saw what the defense was giving her, adjusted her shot selection, and kept scoring in different situations. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
