Big Names Already Signed Up For The Michigan Freshman Showcase

The 2026 Michigan Freshman Showcase is on the horizon.
It takes place on Sunday, Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. from the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac.
There will be a lot of top names from the Class of 2030 on hand, and WE WANT YOU to join us.

There's some key questions we can answer about why you should be part of this event if you're an incoming freshman.
- Exposure: This event will be streaming on BallerTV, giving college coaches around the US the ability to see your skills on display and how you compete against other top 2030 prospects.
- Competition: See how you stack up against the best of the best in your class. This event is going to feature a lot of great 2030 talent, and a chance for you to elevate your play by competing alongside them. Can you dig up the big hitters? Can you power through a big block? Can you set at a fast and accurate tempo? Only one way to find out!
- Coverage: I, myself, will be in attendance, among other Prep Dig scouts to provide coverage of the event and help get your name out there as your high school careers are set to begin.

, S Lowell/FaR Out: Eveland helped FaR Out 14 Black reach the semifinals of the AAU National Championship and looks like a natural at the position. She has outstanding touch and great leadership skills to get the best out of her hitters. - Alicia Fumarolo, MH Grand Haven/FaR Out: Fumarolo is a really explosive middle that looks like she can contribute at the next level right away. She sees the court well and stays aggressive at the net while displaying a lot of lift off the floor.
- Amelia Kurtz Amelia Kurtz 5'7" | S MI , S Milford/Legacy: Kurtz was one of the two setters as part of the Legacy 14-1 ADIDAS squad that won both an AAU and USAV National Championship this past club season. She knows how to push a fast pace and set a high-quality ball.

, DS/L Dakota/Legacy: The standout libero for Legacy 14-1 ADIDAS, she was the real backbone for the squad in their championship efforts, being able to dig up some of the best hitters around the country. - Skylar Stephens Skylar Stephens 5'7" | DS/L MI , DS/L Portage Central/FaR Out: Stephens has been able to dig up many of the top hitters around the country and looks very calm and collected doing it. She's quick on her feet and keeps her eyes laser focused on the play.

, OH Big Rapids/FaR Out: Tacia has big power in her swing and she can terminate from anywhere on the floor while being able to hit any target on the opposing side. Expect a lot of pop when she takes her swings.
Cate Verkeyn, OH Mercy/ Legacy: When looking at the 2030 outsides that could really take off, Verkeyn is definitely at the top of the list. She's got big power and makes a lot of high IQ plays. She can also come through with some timely defensive plays.
