These young athletes are showing consistency, athleticism, and plenty of potential every time they step on the court. They're still early in their careers, but don't let that fool you. At 6'1", she can take up plenty of space at the net, but she doesn't stop there. She passes, attacks, and blocks with consistency, giving her team a steady option in every rotation. Then comes that arm swing. Wyatt can really put some heat on the ball, and defenders better be ready when she gets a good look. Really quick. She is the type of defender who can make a play on a ball that looks like it is already headed for the floor. Her speed allows her to move forward, backward, and side to side without hesitation. Additionally, Hogg brings versatility because she can contribute from multiple positions. She stays ready, reads the play, and isn't afraid to go make a play. She takes charge. She plays with an aggressive edge while still bringing plenty of consistency to the back row. Furthermore, her ability to read the play allows her to get moving early and put herself in position before the ball arrives. She seems to have a good idea of where the play is going, and that gives her a head start on making the tough defensive play.
