The Class of 2030 is only getting started on its recruiting journey, but the volleyball is already giving us plenty to talk about. More and more of these athletes are putting together complete matches every tournament, and they're showing cleaner first contacts, stronger transition play, smarter shot selection, and a more profound understanding of how to influence rallies. The physical tools are in place, but what's impressed me most is how quickly their volleyball IQ is developing.

This class doesn't depend on raw athleticism anymore. They're learning to read the block, stay available in transition, close seams at the net, control the first contact, and make decisions that keep their teams in sync. These things matter. Coaches want them because these skills translate to long-term development and success at the next level.

The athletes below are beginning to distinguish themselves by playing the game the right way. They are stepping up into their roles, battling through every rally and continuing to develop their skill sets with every tournament. If this season is any indication, the Class of 2030 is setting the stage for college coaches to keep tabs on in the years to come.

She attacks confidently in transition, recognizes the block, and varies her shots to prevent defenders from finding a rhythm. She did many things well, kept her cool under pressure, and always made difficult digs into good first contacts. Her range defensively and ability to extend rallies provided her team with more scoring opportunities throughout the season. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
