She puts balls in power zones consistently and involves a number of hitters. Gribble does not lock her arms on the sets and makes good decisions. Whitsell makes the simple passes on defense and serve reception. Whitsell forms walls around balls and keeps her arms aimed at targets. Whitsell takes minimal steps to balls, only diving out of necessity. Whitsell handles well-struck crosses with precision and puts across sound serves. Her range has improved during club season. She has a good rhythm on first touches and provides good net backup. Spillman can make pancake digs on setovers and makes nice adjustments on redirected balls. Spillman has a tough float serve the paints back lines and dives quickly on opponents. She stays focused on every play and has a purpose behind each pass, trying to consistently hit targets. She reads the court well and goes hard after balls.
