Largest Schools Preview: Players To Watch, Part 1

The next couple of articles will preview the biggest schools in Indiana, with some of the top returning players that should make the biggest impacts on their respective squads. Paige is a hard-hitting, tempo-setting pin attacker that is more than capable of carrying a match offensively. Although listed as 5'10”, she plays much bigger than her frame, and is more apt to be seen as the go-to outside at Castle than “just another piece”. Her footwork looks flawless, and is rarely caught off-guard by an out-of-system pass. With a high volleyball IQ, a matter-of-fact approach to the game and an innate ability to take over a match on a moment's notice, Audrey is THE reason Plainfield is even thought of for state title consideration. Although Chesterton hasn't exactly had the best of luck in the last couple of postseasons, their 30 wins last fall should be a precursor for what to expect from this northern Indiana squad. Brownsburg hasn't exactly had a lot of size in recent years, so Katherine's arrival will be a breath of fresh air for this roster. The Georgia Tech commit has the tools and the talent to take over a match, and the ACC is the perfect landing spot for this rising junior. More than apt to use a combination of brute strength and a high volleyball IQ on the court, Macy will be the primary attacker in an offense built on consistency and relentlessness.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
