She has.a solid four-step approach, a quick arm swing and terminates balls on a number of routes. She gets up on shoots and slides then pounds balls down before blockers can rise up. Mitchell punches balls into seams with a great downward trajectory. Mitchell has a great volleyball IQ with her ball placement. Turley has a quick approach, extension and finish. She terminates balls with outstanding control and downward trajectory. Turley pounds out sound crosses and tools blocks well for big points. Turley also takes solid swings from the back row. Even good defensive specialists struggle to dig her up. She pounds balls down the line with authority when back row players are leaning inside to defend the back line. Turley is also an aggressive blocker. She closes out on balls quickly with her swing blocks. Her versatility shows in the back row with her consistent passing. She only lunges when needed, yet stays under control.
