Teams can never have enough solid outside hitters. It's the middles that can be hard to come by, especially if they are undersized. Hourigan has the size to make an impact at the net. Hourgian takes sound swings from both the middle and pins. Her blocking took major strides forward in the spring.     Ogden looks to be a force at the net for the Hounds this fall. She improved her swing blocking and got on top of balls better during club season. Ogden developed a quicker arm swing to give Alpha A.51 a great option in the middle and pins in the spring. Ogden has great technique on her blocks and hopes to help Paris take more steps forward this fall.     Howard (pictured) terminates balls with authority. Bluegrass Reign concluded club season before spring break and Howard hopes to use the rest to come into the high school season with a flurry. Howard does a great job balancing power and precision into her hits in the middle and the outside. Howard makes the most of sets in and out of system. When the spacing is there, Howard sees the other side and places balls away from opponents.     The Warhawks are known for balance and Cardwell hopes to do her part to keep that up this fall. Cardwell get up and shoves balls to the back row. Cardwell possesses a nice, controlled four-step approach and places balls nicely. Cardwell sends across nice crosses and stops to tip balls over double blocks. A quicker arm swing is a nice next step for Cardwell to add to her repertoire.     Franklin has the talent to be a sound all-around player. Franklin displays consistency on her attacks from the approach all the way through contact. Franklin mixes in tips and has good blocking technique. Franklin also gives her teammates good net backup. Franklin brings great energy to the court and is coachable.
