So, it begins.
Our weekly class-by-class high school rankings series is back. And, per tradition, the 2026 edition of these lists kicks off the with the most difficult selection process of all. Prepare for preseason prognostications.
These initial team rankings present unique challenges. We have no current matches to work from, but we also have an infinite list of changes to consider. We're looking at graduations, transfers, reclassifications, and all the other things that make Nebraska's prep scene an ever-evolving landscape. That's the way it ought to be.
