Building Their Name: Class of 2031s to Know

However, there are already some details starting to stand out. She does a nice job getting herself into position, which allows her to approach the ball with confidence. That timing is only going to continue improving as she gets more reps and experience. She also shows a nice feel for shot selection. Hurtado is already beginning to understand where the open space is and how to use the court. There is not much of the court she is unwilling to cover, and she is ready to move when the ball heads her way. Her platform really stands out. It stays controlled and intentional, even when she has to move for a tougher ball. Youssef also brings some power when she has to send the third ball over and when she steps back to serve. She uses her approach to get herself up and gives herself a good opportunity to attack over the net. One detail that stands out is how she uses the block. Understanding how to work around and off the hands of defenders is a valuable skill, especially at this stage.
