Of all the classes that took part in the 2026 Stock Up Showcase, it was the Class of 2029 prospects that really made a name for themselves.

Here's the second part of our 2029 player evaluations from Sunday's event.

[player_tooltip player_id='891757' first='Millie' last='Craven'], MB Imlay City/Legacy

Craven uses a good wingspan to be very disruptive at the net. She's only listed at 5'9”, but played more like a 6-footer when it came to her ability to slow down attacks. She also has a nice spring off the floor to make her very dangerous with quick attacks in the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='777145' first='Andersyn' last='King'], S Harper Creek/FaR Out

King is one of the promising setting talents in the state, especially for the Class of 2029. She's playing with a lot of confidence right now, as she should be. King has really good instincts and a high court IQ. Her touch is hard to match, but she can also dazzle with some athletic sets that fool a defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='888951' first='Piper' last='Vugteveen'], RS Hudsonville/FaR Out

There were a lot of powerful hitters at this Showcase and Vugteveen was certainly one of the most powerful. At 6'1” with a solid vertical, Vugteveen gets way above the net and just unloads on the ball, especially when she gets a clean look. It was a fireworks display when the ball came off her hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='888953' first='Kennedy' last='Thomas'], RS/MH East Lansing/FaR Out

Thomas can play anywhere along the net and dominate, but she had some of the best play of any middle at the Showcase. She just looks in complete control when she's on the floor and her timing with the various setters was really impressive. She's got the potential to be one of the big breakout stars in the state over this next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='775991' first='Sydney' last='Manning'], OH BC Lakeview/FaR Out

Manning was one of the top all-around outsides. She shows great athleticism and agility that applies to all phases of the game. Her swing is fundamentally sound and generates great power, while her defensive play looks effortless at times. Manning also brings a potent serve to the court, allowing her to impact a match at any moment.

[player_tooltip player_id='942699' first='Alivia' last='Damiano'], RS Lake Orion/Unified

Damiano did a good job of using her length to be imposing at the net. She has some good ups that allowed her to do a good job of attacking the ball at a high point and create some difficult shot angles for defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005990' first='Sophie' last='Ziebinski'], RS Adams/Legacy

There's a lot of promise in Ziebinski's game. She shows a solid foundation in all areas of play. She plays with good speed at the net and generates good momentum in her attacks. Her defensive play is steady with consistent form, while her serves are challenging with good trajectory. As she continues to get more reps against top competition, it should bring her game to another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='919979' first='Alexis' last='Crawford'], S Gull Lake/Dead Frog

Crawford brings a lot of great intangibles to the floor for a setter. Her 6-foot length allows her to make some rapid-fire connections with her middles, while also giving her outsides plenty of loft to unload on the ball. Crawford did a nice job of disguising her sets and knowing when to play a well-timed dump.

[player_tooltip player_id='1006540' first='Anna' last='Miller'], S Petoskey/NorthShore

Miller did a good job of taking in communication from her hitters and being able to apply it quickly. She spread the ball around nicely during scrimmages while testing herself with some aggressive sets. Miller also showed good defensive instincts and a willingness to get scrappy at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'], OH North Branch/North Branch VBC

Deshetsky had a nice freshman season with North Branch, but looks like a completely different player now. She showed up at the Showcase looking very confident and complete control anytime she was on the floor. She's got natural leadership skills and backs it up with elite play in all phases of the game. Deshetsky has a lot of athleticism and knows how to use it.

[player_tooltip player_id='788886' first='Bristol' last='Davenport'], DS/L Southgate Anderson/Legacy

Davenport can be plugged in anywhere on the floor and likely succeed. She's a great natural athlete that excels in the back row with her quickness and body control. But, she also showed that she can put the ball away when she gets a spot at the net, or a swing from the back row. As talented as she is, she matches that in work ethic and drive.

[player_tooltip player_id='888956' first='Maddie' last='Hirdes'], RS Coopersville/FaR Out

Coopersville has developed some great right sides, and Hirdes could be the next in line. At 6'0”, Hirdes can be very imposing to look across the net at. She plays with a lot of effort and covers a lot of space with her long arms. As the Showcase went on, the timing on her attacks got better and better and she showed that she can definitely be a hitter that can take over a match.

Of all the classes that took part in the 2026 Stock Up Showcase, it was the Class of 2029 prospects that really made a name for themselves.
