The 2026 Michigan Stock Up Showcase was a great success, with plenty of talented 2028 prospects included.

Here's the second part of our 2028 player evaluations from Sunday's event.

[player_tooltip player_id='775864' first='Ava' last='Arsenault'], S John Glenn/Michigan Elite

Arsenault needed a little time to get a feel for all the different hitters, which is understandable at these kinds of events. Once she settled in, she got in a really nice groove and brought a lot of good out of her hitters. As her confidence grew, she took more chances and made some impressive sets.

[player_tooltip player_id='940014' first='Kennedy' last='Bourdo'], OH Gull Lake/USA Michigan

Bourdo shows a lot of steady power from the outside, particularly on the right side. She doesn't need a lot of space to create a challenging attack for defenders, which helps when she gets an out-of-system ball that she can still put a good pop on. When the sets are in a good place, Bourdo does a nice job of playing some difficult attack lines while keeping the ball in play.

[player_tooltip player_id='746527' first='Evelyn' last='Engelhardt'], MB Garber/Michigan Elite

Engelhardt keeps herself on the move and stays at the ready. She can play the outsides, but uses her length really well in the middle. Her slide attacks are smooth and deliver big swings, while her blocking range is very wide. She remained aggressive and tried to get to every ball that came near her at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='709804' first='McKenzie' last='Reid'], DS/L Lake Orion/High Performance

Reid is a great asset to have in the back row, as she plays with a chip on her shoulder and determined to make every play. She leaves it all on the court and has great instincts when she needs to sprint to a spot to have a chance to make a dig. Reid also shows good communication and leadership skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='747705' first='Alana' last='Lowe'], DS/L Northville/Team Detroit

Lowe was a player that was constantly on the move. Listed as a defender, Lowe showed some good things when she had the opportunity to take swings as well. There's good explosiveness in her play, aided by her strong footwork. Lowe wasn't letting herself get caught out of position often.

[player_tooltip player_id='787419' first='Emilee' last='Farkas'], OH Marshall/Attack

The ball really likes to fly off of Farkas' hand and that comes without a big wind up in her swing. She sizes up each set or bump that comes her way and times it out well to deliver consistent power. Defensively, Farkas stays engaged and shows good form in her first contact while being able to switch gears to the attack without hesitation.

[player_tooltip player_id='664290' first='Heidi' last='White'], S East Grand Rapids/MVA Rise

I was excited to see White in action, as she's definitely one of the stronger setters in the state that deserves more attention. She was really impressive in drills, as she knew right where to put the ball for each new hitter she worked with. It was seamless and looked easy for her. When scrimmage play picked up, so did White's tempo and willingness to take risks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1008840' first='Lauren' last='Boatman'], MB Lakeview/Legacy

Boatman is listed at 5'10” but plays longer. She uses her length really well by having impeccable timing on her blocking. As the Showcase went on and the intensity picked up, Boatman looked ready for the challenge. She played more on instincts and made some impressive attacks and blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='849325' first='McKenna' last='Kaleniecki'], DS/L OLSM/Unified

Like most of the defenders at this showcase, Kaleniecki had really good footwork and she moved around the floor smoothly while staying locked into the rally. One of her strengths was backing up her hitters. She made some tough plays to keep the ball off the floor when her hitters got stuffed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1000219' first='Katherine' last='Myers'], DS/L Notre Dame Academy/Pillar Volleyball (OH)

Myers was one of a few Ohio prospects to make the trip up to Pontiac to compete against some of Michigan's best prospects. Myers made sure to make an impression with her effort and eagerness to see the floor. She made every dive and every sprawl necessary to make plays. She definitely helped set the bar high for the defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1009113' first='Wren' last='Korson'], S Berkley/Michigan Elite

Korson was part of an impressive crop of setters and she held her own with them. Her communication skills were among the best, as she directed traffic well and showed a lot of support to her peers. During scrimmages, Korson pushed herself to find another gear to her play and makes some strong connections with her pin hitters.

The 2026 Michigan Stock Up Showcase was a great success, with plenty of talented 2028 prospects included.
