Summer Update: 2027 Middle Rankings

Foote is our top-ranked middle in the class and the #3 player in the updated summer 2027 rankings. She has developed a deep and diverse offensive game and is constantly working to improve. The NPJ Forefront middle will be a tough customer for defenses to handle when she is playing in Spokane for Gonzaga.       Eshuis is a recent Seattle University commit; the Lynden Christian standout is a talented multi-sport athlete who has always impressed our scouts with her length, athleticism, and long-term potential. She made plays all tournament long at USAV Nationals, and Eshuis still has the room to grow and develop her overall game. The Central Kitsap product's development and physicality took off like a rocket over the past year, and her length and feel are a terrific fit for the newly constituted Pac-12 Conference.     Knapp has outstanding vision as an attacker and blocker. She makes decisive moves when she diagnoses an attack and wastes very little motion in her blocking footwork. The North Olympic middle is precise in transition and doesn't need a lot of runway to get off the floor and quickly turn a swing to an open gap around the block to score.     Stevens has a live arm and gets off the floor quickly when attacking; she is versatile enough to score effectively from the middle or the pins. PSVBA smartly utilized her on different routes along the net, maximizing her ability to find swings. Stevens works hard as a blocker out of the middle- she is strong throughout long rallies and doesn't take a point off.     Kondey will take a big swing at high hands, then mix in a smart tip to an open spot that leaves defenders flat-footed. The Tahoma High School 2027 prospect is a quality middle with length and a high work rate. Kondey is effective at running the "31" in the gaps, and her Sudden Impact setters do a terrific job finding her before the block is formed.
