Foote is a high-quality middle from the 2027 class, boasting height, a whippy arm swing, and a burning desire to improve her game. She will be headed to Gonzaga University after high school, as the school transitions to the “new” Pac-12 in 2026 and beyond. The new Gonzaga head coach, J.T. Wenge, has honed in on some terrific local prospects, and Foote is a fantastic in-state pickup.

Foote recently posted eight blocks, three aces, and eight kills in a victory over Lynden Christian. Anacortes is off to a 7-3 record on the season and is playing well in the 2A Northwest Conference. Foote is long and plays well above the net with a 10″ jump touch. Offensively, the sophomore has added to her game. Foote is moving out to either pin, finding seams in the defense, and throwing down a decisive power tip to score with off-speed.

Foote and her WVBA 15 Adidas team played outstanding volleyball in Orlando at The AAU Championships. The 6’2″ rising sophomore just keeps improving and putting in the work to do so. Not many young middles run a front slide, the seam, and the drift/pop routes that Foote will work in. She is an excellent class of 2027 prospect.

Foote is 6’2″ with strength, athleticism and a tremendous work ethic. The 2027 from Anacortes has a high ceiling with her length and skill, and is a shut down blocker with great press across the net. Foote and her WVBA 15 Adidas team are seeded #2 overall in the 15 Open, and face a field that includes PJVBC 15 National, NPJ Seattle 15 National, and OJVA 15 Gold among others. Foote is developing into a consistent scorer on the slide attack, hammering away and dropping a soft tip in to mix it up.

Foote is our initial top ranked MB, a 6’2 force at the net from Anacortes High School. Like many young, tall middles she is currently further along as a blocker than an attacker, she moves well side to side along the net and utilizes solid eye work to track the setter and attackers. The arm swing and athleticism are present for Foote offensively, and as her confidence and footwork develops she will inevitably begin to impose her presence on opposing defenders.

The lengthy freshman from Anacortes is showing improvement in all phases of the game. Coaches liked the way Foote tracked the ball while working her way into transition, a skill that requires training and focus, especially for a young 2027 MB. Her ability to adjust to the set and the position of her setter was mentioned more than once. When Foote attacks cross court, she is able to produce some extra heat on her swing- terminating anywhere from the 10-foot line to the back corner.
