Their play demanded another look. Over the past year, we've seen bigger roles, stronger performances, and players who look entirely different than they did the last time we evaluated them. Some made their move during the high school season; others caught our attention during club, but all of them did enough to break into an already competitive 2028 group.

[player_tooltip player_id='932630' first='Alexis' last='Petoske'] has become tougher to read from the right pin. She can get up and put pace behind the ball, but she isn't locked into overpowering every block. Petoske is seeing the hands better, changing where she attacks and showing more control when the clean swing isn't there. That makes a difference on the right side, where she can create a difficult matchup and still manage a way to score when the defense gets organized. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='932670' first='Lauren' last='Paulson'] will take the ball; you don't necessarily want to give it to an outsider. When the pass gets pulled off the net or the set isn't sitting perfectly, she stays aggressive and finds something to do with it. Paulson works back into transition, gets herself available again, and doesn't disappear after the first swing. She can bring pace when the opportunity is there, but some of her best volleyball comes from how well she handles the rallies that aren't clean. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Watch [player_tooltip player_id='756911' first='Tatum' last='Goff'] before the attacker swings. She's already reading, moving, and working herself into position. Goff plays with a controlled platform and doesn't create much extra movement at contact, which helps her handle pace and cover ground in the backcourt. She also has a strong feel for taking a hard-driven ball and giving her team something usable instead of being satisfied with simply keeping it off the floor. That's the kind of defense that can change the next two contacts. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='932637' first='Brooklyn' last='Lunt'] plays the outside with a lot of activity. She works hard off the net, gets herself back into transition, and stays available when a rally stretches beyond the first swing. Lunt can attack with pace, but she also does a good job staying under control when the set isn't exactly where she wants it. What has caught my attention is how often she finds her way back into the play. She isn't standing and watching after her first contact; she's already moving, covering and preparing for another opportunity. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='932672' first='Taylor' last='Pearman'] can shoot well from the outside. She gets into her approach aggressively and has the arm to put defenders under pressure, especially when she gets a good ball in front of her. What looks different now is how she's working against the block. Pearman is seeing more, using her hands, and finding court instead of automatically trying to hit through what's in front of her. That added range is making the power she already has a lot more effective. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='764113' first='Jaelyn' last='Kettwig'] has a good feel for who needs the ball and when to get it to them. She doesn't get stuck feeding one part of the court, and she's comfortable moving the offense around when a defense starts adjusting. Kettwig competes to get underneath tough second contacts and can still give her hitter a ball to work with when the pass pulls her off the net. I also like the way she connects with her hitters and keeps things organized from point to point. Kettwig runs an offense with purpose, and that has become much more noticeable in her game. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Thank you to all my readers for making this journey possible.
