4A Varsity Juniors on the Rise

Through the opening weeks of the season, she leads the team in hitting percentage and ranks among its top kill producers. Giconi has improved tremendously over the last couple of seasons and is starting to see that growth translate into big offensive numbers. She brings a high contact point and the ability to attack in multiple directions, doing a great job finding open space on the court. She takes on a large portion of the court in serve receive while limiting errors, establishing herself as a reliable anchor in the back row. Lucero brings a calming presence defensively and consistently keeps her team in system when under pressure. Roark has helped lead Mountain View offensively, producing big numbers at the net while also bringing a strong blocking presence. Although undersized for her position, she makes up for it with an impressive contact point, athleticism, and explosiveness. King has been impressive over the last couple of weeks and looks like she is just getting started. She brings a fast arm swing, athleticism, and a versatile skill set that allows her to impact the game in multiple ways.
