Putting together a watchlist is only the start, especially with the 2030 class. These setters have already done enough to earn their spot, and I'm excited to keep watching them. There's so much that can change at this position as they get more reps, play against better competition, and become more comfortable running an offense. I'm looking forward to seeing what each of these names does from here, and we'll hear a lot more about them. They're on the list for a reason, and now we have the opportunity to see how it goes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1022941' first='Macy' last='Relf'] has a very strong foundation at the setter position and shows control with the second contact. She works to get balanced under the ball and gives her attackers a consistent ball to work with. As the pace picks up, Relf has the tools to become more comfortable changing tempo and using more of the net. There's enough in her game already to make her an intriguing setter in this 2030 class. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1023080' first='Mya' last='Brown'] brings a steady presence to the setter position and plays with a good understanding of what the offense needs from her. She works with purpose on the second contact, places the ball into favorable attacking windows, and gives her hitters opportunities to stay aggressive. Brown also shows the ability to adjust within a rally rather than letting an imperfect first contact dictate the point. There's a poise to her game that makes her an interesting setter to have on this 2030 watchlist. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1022905' first='Alivia' last='Martz'] brings some offensive feel to the setter position. She can distribute across the net and has the opportunity to keep multiple attackers involved, rather than letting the block settle into a single matchup. I like the potential here as Martz becomes more comfortable changing tempo and recognizing what the defense is giving her. There's some setter IQ to keep following with Martz. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Decision-making is what makes [player_tooltip player_id='947803' first='Callie' last='Brown'] so interesting as a player. She can work through her options and isn't limited to simply sending the ball to the most obvious attacker. As that feel develops, Brown can become a setter who manipulates the block, finds favorable matchups, and puts her hitters in better scoring situations. That's where this position can really start to open up for her. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='947799' first='Finnley' last='Moulton'] shows good connection with her attackers, and that's an important starting point for any setter. Location and consistency give hitters confidence in their approach, but Moulton also has room to build on that by varying tempo and creating different looks across the net. As those connections get stronger, so does what she can ask of the offense. Moulton is another 2030 setter with some interesting pieces already in place. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
