PINS ON THE PROWL: Class of 2028 WATCHLIST

<p>The Class of 2028 pin group has plenty of names already inside the rankings, but there is another group making a serious case to join the conversation.</p>   <p>This watchlist is filled with athletes who bring different strengths to the court. Some are explosive attackers, while others impact the match in all six rotations. However, each player has continued showing pieces of their game that make them worth following closely.</p>   <p>The rankings conversation is never finished, and these pins are making sure we keep watching.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Camble Booth</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Booth plays with athleticism that is hard to miss. She brings explosiveness to the pin, but she does not limit herself to being an offensive-only player. Booth can attack with pace, get herself above the net, and create pressure on the right side. However, once the ball crosses back over, she immediately switches gears and is ready to defend. Her willingness to compete through every part of the rally is what makes her stand out. Booth will chase down balls, stay active around second contacts, and continue working even when the play gets messy. She has shown that same effort defensively, producing 288 digs and averaging 3.2 digs per set. Booth brings energy everywhere she goes, and she is building an increasingly well-rounded game.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kaia Caines</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Caines has a natural rhythm as an attacker that allows her to stay comfortable on a variety of sets. Her approach has good pace, and she gets herself into a strong position to attack instead of rushing the final steps. She stays aggressive when the opportunity is there and is willing to challenge both the block and the open court. What is exciting about Caines is the confidence she brings when attacking. She does not look hesitant when the set is not exactly where she wants it. Instead, she continues working to find a way to stay available and make something happen. As she continues adding more shots and experience to her game, Caines is a pin worth keeping on the radar.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jordyn Fox</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Fox is a newer name on the radar, but the way she competes makes her difficult to overlook. She brings a toughness to the court and does not back away when things get challenging. Fox stays involved and competes through the entire match, which is a quality that can take an athlete a long way. At the net, she does a nice job getting her hands over and taking away space. She also has the athleticism to elevate and attack with pace from the pin. That combination gives her the ability to impact points in multiple ways. There is still plenty to learn about Fox, but one thing is already clear: she has the resilience and competitive edge to keep gaining attention.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Devyn Edwards</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Edwards is the type of player who makes herself useful no matter where the ball is going. She can take a swing, transition off the net, step into serve receive, and turn around to make a defensive play on the very next contact. Her ability to move between responsibilities without losing focus gives her a valuable presence across all six rotations. Edwards' defensive production also backs that up. Recording 296 digs and averaging 3.9 digs per set as an outside is impressive, especially while carrying responsibilities in the front row. She stays engaged in the match and does not wait around for her opportunity to come to her. Edwards goes looking for ways to impact the next point, and that all-around mindset keeps her firmly on this watchlist.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chandler Lynott</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Lynott brings something different to the pin as a left-handed attacker. That alone can create an adjustment for opposing defenses, but Lynott also has the ability to attack with pace and put pressure on the court from either pin. She has a strong arm and does not need a perfect opportunity to make an offensive impact. Her game also extends beyond the attack. Lynott stays active at the net and competes hard defensively, giving her opportunities to impact rallies even when she is not taking the swing. The more opportunities Lynott gets, the more pieces of her game continue to show. She has the tools to keep moving forward, and this Class of 2028 watchlist is a good place to start.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Push Is On</h2>   <p>The Class of 2028 rankings have plenty of movement ahead, and this group is making sure the competition stays interesting.</p>   <p>Booth, Caines, Fox, Edwards, and Lynott each bring their own style to the pin.
