The Do It All Crew: Class of 2028

<p><strong>What can't they do?</strong></p>   <p>Some players have a favorite spot on the court. Others seem perfectly comfortable wherever the game needs them. This group brings that second kind of versatility.</p>   <p>From attacking on either pin to passing, setting, defending, and stepping into different front-row roles, these four Class of 2028 athletes have shown they can do more than one job. That kind of flexibility can be a huge asset for any team.</p>   <p>Let's take a look!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='831405' first='Deja' last='Lewis']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Lewis is the definition of an all-around player. She can attack from either pin and brings a heavy arm that allows her to stay aggressive offensively. However, her game does not stop when she rotates to the back row. Lewis is comfortable in serve receive and stays ready to make a play regardless of where she is on the court. She brings plenty of speed and plays with an aggressive mindset, which keeps her involved throughout the match. More importantly, she genuinely wants to contribute wherever her team needs her.That willingness to embrace different roles makes Lewis a particularly fun player to watch. Whether she is swinging, passing, or stepping into another responsibility, she brings the same energy to the court.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1009895' first='Anika' last='Pearson']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Pearson brings the kind of versatility that gives a coach plenty of options. As a six-rotation outside, she is already comfortable contributing in both the front and back row. She can also step into the DS or right-side role when needed, making her a player who can adjust to different lineups without losing her effectiveness. Her reach is another part of her game that stands out. Pearson gets herself into a good position to attack and can maintain that same athletic presence when her role changes. Meanwhile, her serve receive gives her another way to stay involved even when she is not the primary offensive option. Most importantly, Pearson brings a steady presence. She does not need everything to go perfectly to contribute, and that reliability is a big part of what makes a true utility player valuable.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1019969' first='Emma' last='Francis']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Francis has embraced her role as a defensive specialist, but she has plenty more to offer. She has the ability to step into the right-side or middle position, giving her team another layer of flexibility when the lineup changes. That versatility becomes even more interesting when you look at what she is doing offensively at the high school level. Francis has developed into a reliable scoring option from the pin. She competes for her opportunities and continues to show that she can contribute when the ball comes her way. At the same time, she is comfortable doing the less flashy work that comes with playing defense and helping keep a rally organized. That combination is what makes Francis stand out. She can fill a defensive role, but she also has the offensive ability to give her team another option when she moves into the front row.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1007939' first='Brier' last='Jensen']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Jensen brings a completely different kind of versatility to this group. She has the ability to run an offense from the setter position while also stepping into an attacking role. That combination requires a strong understanding of the game, because the responsibilities can change quickly depending on where she is on the court. Jensen does a nice job making those transitions feel natural. She can help organize the offense, then turn around and become an attacking option when the play calls for it. Her volleyball IQ allows her to stay engaged with what is developing around her instead of focusing on just one responsibility. That all-around understanding is what makes Jensen especially interesting to watch. She brings value through her ability to make decisions, recognize what her team needs, and contribute in different ways throughout a match.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Do It All Crew</h2>   <p>Lewis, Pearson, Francis, and Jensen all bring something different to the court, but their versatility is the common thread.</p>   <p>Some players help a team by mastering one role. These athletes have shown they can contribute in several. That could mean moving from the back row to the front row, switching positions, taking on a different responsibility, or simply being ready when their team needs something different.
