Jensen brings a completely different kind of versatility to this group. She has the ability to run an offense from the setter position while also stepping into an attacking role. That combination requires a strong understanding of the game, because the responsibilities can change quickly depending on where she is on the court. Jensen does a nice job making those transitions feel natural. She can help organize the offense, then turn around and become an attacking option when the play calls for it. Her volleyball IQ allows her to stay engaged with what is developing around her instead of focusing on just one responsibility. That all-around understanding is what makes Jensen especially interesting to watch. She brings value through her ability to make decisions, recognize what her team needs, and contribute in different ways throughout a match.

Brier Jensen has been phenomenal through the opening weeks of the high school season, leading Thompson Valley in nearly every statistical category. What separates Jensen is her complete all around game – she is a go to attacking option, helps run the offense as a setter, and puts up big time numbers defensively in the back row. Her versatility allows Thompson Valley to use her in a variety of ways and makes her a difficult player for opposing teams to slow down. Thompson Valley will continue to rely heavily on Jensen’s consistency and efficiency as the season progresses.

Brier Jensen was a standout all around performer and a key piece in Thompson Valley’s success. Jensen led the offensive attack with 12 kills while hitting an outstanding .500, while also adding three service aces, 10 digs, and an impressive 13 assists as both a setter and hitter. Her versatility allows Thompson Valley to use her in multiple roles, and she consistently finds ways to impact the match regardless of where she is on the court. Jensen’s ability to put up big numbers in nearly every category makes her an incredibly valuable piece of this Thompson Valley lineup.

Jensen is a multi-sport athlete, and her speed shows up quickly on the volleyball court. Her track and field background gives her the ability to cover ground, and she is not afraid to take off after a ball that looks out of reach. She reads the game well and has a strong sense of where the ball is heading. On top of that, Jensen can contribute in several ways. She can pass, set, and step over to the right side when her team needs an attack. That versatility, paired with her athleticism, makes her a player whose stock continues to rise.

Jensen brings the athleticism of a dual-sport athlete to the volleyball court, and it shows. Her movement is smooth, her timing is sharp, and she can transition from setting to attacking to blocking without missing a beat. She is always ready for the next play and finds ways to stay involved throughout the match. That versatility is impressive, but her competitive mindset makes her stand out even more. Jensen is the type of athlete you want next to you when the match gets tight. She brings energy, confidence, and the kind of leadership that teammates can follow.
