FROM COLORADO TO CAMPUS: Teammates on the Way

Six Colorado athletes are headed to three different college programs, with two Colorado players joining each program. That means these athletes aren't just taking their games to the next level. They're taking a little piece of Colorado volleyball with them — together.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From big attacks to smart decision-making and plenty of leadership, each pair brings something different to the court. She attacks with confidence, stays efficient, and continues to prove that she can be a go-to offensive option when her team needs a point. Playing up a year in club has given her plenty of experience competing against older athletes, and she carries herself like someone who has already been there before. Lauer plays with a veteran feel and continues to make the game look easy. She keeps herself involved, adjusts to whatever comes her way, and does a great job keeping the offense moving. Pears has the size and attacking ability to create problems at the net, while her feel for the game allows her to stay useful when the play doesn't go exactly as planned. Now, she and Lauer will get to take their Colorado connection to Clemson and see what they can create together.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Clemson isn't getting one Colorado standout. She has a strong understanding of how to score and brings plenty of tools to her attacking game. She can change her shot, work around the block, and adjust when the defense takes away her first option. That ability to think through a rally makes her especially fun to watch. She brings a natural leadership presence and isn't afraid to take on responsibility when her team needs it. She competes with confidence, stays composed in big moments, and has continued to establish herself as someone teammates can count on. Roberts has paved her own path through Colorado volleyball, and now she's ready to take that leadership to Texas Tech. When King gets a chance to make a play, she doesn't hesitate. She brings energy to the middle and can change the look of an offense with her presence alone.
