Turner has shown she can excel in whatever role is asked of her. Somerset's coaching staff ultimately decided Turner in the setter role best helps out the team. Turner makes great decisions running the offense and mixes in deceptive setter dumps. Turner is not afraid to jump up on second contacts and push balls to the ground surprising opponents. Turner jumpstarts the Somerset attack with great range, making huge digs under control. Turner has nice timing and form on her blocks. Gough can go down to get tough jump serves under control to jumpstart the GRC offense. Gough then lets her great court IQ take over. She does not hesitate to send off shots to open parts of the court. Gough tools blocks and rainbows off shots to the back row. Gough has a powerful arm swing and wrist snap to put great power on balls on fives. Gough can pound balls to side lines when she has the right spacing away from the net. Gough can even go up and put quality roll shots over double blocks when opposing defensive specialists are playing back. Marrett does a great job tooling blocks and rainbows off shots to deep corners on go routes. Marrett does not hesitate to mix in tips if defensive specialists are playing back. Marrett also produces serving the ball and on defense. She continues to make things happen on ones and go routes with her high attack point. Abner creates space for opponents. She does a great job attacking holes in double blocks and seams. Brown does not rush her shots. Brown takes her time and sends across timely crosses over and around blockers. Brown even does a good job sending off shots through holes in double blocks and into seams.
