Ramsie has all the key components to make a star player! Long gone are the days of players excelling at one skill, you have to be able to produce on the court and step up with more then multiple skills, and Ramsie does just that with a loaded tool box. She runs a smart court controlling the tempo and using her front row players with quick sets and controlled thought out action. She reads the opposition well and varies her sets to give her pins and middle the best opportunity to be successful and is cognizant of the fact of what will work best showing immense court IQ. She runs quicks sets giving the opposition no time to set up, makes accurate sets from a wonderful platform with great hands a great release. She can throw in a sneaky dump, performed well to produce campfire points. Ramsie will get to the ball and dig wholeheartedly but is smart to make decisions and let the ball be played by who can make the best up from a bad ball, showing maturity in what’s best for the play handing out of system balls with thought. She shows trust in her players, and they perform well with her leading the court. A fast, smart player with loads of talent. Can’t replace this kind easily!

Turner produces a lot of nectar sets for 16 Red. Turner moves into position quickly and makes the most of the first touches. Turner does not hesitate to push balls away from the net to give the hitters more room to swing. She does a variety of sets including back sets and surprises opponents with setovers. Defensively, Turner can make pancake digs under control when needed. She defends line shots and soft shots well.

Turner’s time on the Assumption varsity has not come yet, but it will. Turner is an athletically gifted setter. She does a variety of sets including the back set. She reads defenses well and finds favorable matchups. Turner wins jousts and surprises opponents with setovers and other hits over the net on second contacts. Turner can quickly lunge forward to dig up balls. She’s had a good number of pancake digs throughout her career. Another strong club season in the Open Division will only help her take steps forward.

Ramsie is a player whose presence on the court is felt! She runs a sound offence with smart plays and excellent court IQ. She is quick on her feet to get under the ball for second contact and can set fast and accurately to the pins or middle using all options effectively. She has an amazing backset that is quick and makes the pins job easy! She is a sound blocker with a good vertical and has excellent ball control tipping or dumping. She will go far!

Turner was excellent in directing 15 Red’s offense Sunday. She has a sound jump set to put balls on targets on the loaded team. Turner is always moving her feet well.
