So, with all of these players, I went back and looked at my analysis from the showcase, and I feel like I could copy and paste what I wrote previously for Termini. She takes the right approach to attacking the ball at a high clip. After seeing her live again last week, I continue to be impressed with how well she mixes up her shots. She knows when to attack hard cross-court, find the deep corner, or take something off with a roll shot. She has all the tools in her arsenal.

One part of her game I didn't see as much previously was her serving. She is a weapon behind the service line and can put pressure on a defense before the rally even gets started. She is a player I expect to continue rising in the Class of 2029. She is currently averaging close to 2.5 kills per set, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that number continue to climb.

The sophomore is off to a strong start in her first varsity experience. She is currently third on the team in kills per set and has totaled 27 kills on the season, showing she can be a consistent offensive option. She has also made her presence known at the net with 18 blocks. She uses her length well defensively and has shown a knack for getting in the way of opposing hitters. As Liberty continues to rebuild, she appears to be settling into a bigger role and has the potential to become one of the team's key contributors as the season progresses.

Odessa is off to a 4-0 start, and Breitling is a major reason the Bulldogs are clicking early in 2026. She paces the team with 65 digs, averaging 16.8 per match, and has shown an ability to cover a lot of ground in the back row. Her communication has also stood out, providing a steady voice and leadership for the team around her.

Breitling has been just as impressive in serve receive, totaling 67 receptions with only five errors. That consistency has helped give Odessa a solid foundation in the passing game and allowed the offense to stay in system. Through the first week of the season, she has proven to be more than just a stat-sheet contributor—she is bringing stability, communication, and confidence to an undefeated Odessa squad.

Lickteig has gotten some varsity action in her second season of high school volleyball, primarily filling a role as a defensive specialist. She has made the most of those opportunities, totaling 22 digs while showing she can be a reliable option in the back row. She has also proven to be a weapon behind the service line, ranking among the team leaders with six aces early in the season. Her ability to contribute defensively while putting pressure on opponents from the service line gives her value in a specialized role. As she continues to gain varsity experience, she could carve out an even bigger role for herself as the season progresses.

Smithville has raced out to a 3-0 start, and Craig has played an important role in the Warriors' early success. She has appeared in seven of the team's nine sets and currently leads the team with six blocks. She has shown a good ability to close in on opposing attackers and get her hands across the net, while also picking up additional touches that can slow down or disrupt hard-driven balls.

Offensively, Craig has shown flashes of being another scoring option for Smithville with nine kills on the young season. She has the physical tools to make an impact at the net on both sides of the ball, and as she continues to gain experience and become more comfortable in her role, I could see her offensive production continue to grow. With Smithville off to a perfect start, Craig is giving the Warriors a nice presence in the middle of the net.
