Varsity Sophomores Making a Major Impact this Fall

She has come out firing offensively, showing confidence taking big swings and producing in crucial moments. Lane has stepped up in a big way for Falcon, quickly establishing herself as one of the team's top offensive weapons. She has the ability to take over matches when her team can consistently get her the ball in system, using her athleticism and attacking ability to put pressure on opposing defenses. Just a sophomore, Reed already plays with confidence and continues to show plenty of potential as a young setter. As the season progresses, she should continue to see more opportunities to make an impact offensively, but her reliability in serve receive and defense already stands out. She distributes the ball efficiently, shows great court awareness, and uses her size and athleticism to provide a strong blocking presence at the net.
