Expert Analysis
Grace Yoder | Prep Dig Scout
Tatum Phillips continues to impress as she makes the transition to the high school game. Averaging 2.7 kills per set while adding eight aces and 37 serve receive attempts with very limited errors, Phillips has quickly become one of the statistical leaders for her team. As the season progresses, she should continue to see more opportunities to make an impact offensively, but her reliability in serve receive and defense already stands out. Phillips has helped anchor the back court with a tough float serve and impressive ball control, which continues to be one of the strongest aspects of her game.

Phillips put down 12 kills while hitting .333. She may be one of the younger players in the lineup, but she came out ready to compete. Her performance showed confidence and a willingness to take swings when the ball came her way. There is a lot to like about her start to the season.
