<p>Tournaments are always great for checking out teams and talent. The St. Charles East Invite provided a lot of good volleyball. I wanted to cover the 10 players who were chosen for the All-Tournament Team. </p>

She's very strong ... if you put a weak block up against you she will hit the ball through your block. She hits hard and is really smart at the same time. She can hit a roll shot on you if you play to deep, tip/throw to the corners or blast a hit right down on you. Boyd is a force!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Scarlett does something I don't feel like I see a ton of players do and that is she sometimes waits to swing until last second, hangs a bit, finds the open spot, and delivers the kill. Has a really good awareness as a hitter and makes smart plays. Really gets some torque with her wind up and swing. Liked what Scarlett brought to the table. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ava can do a little of everything well. She has great hands as a setter. She gets her elbows way up over the net on blocks jumps well. She can put a good swing on the ball in the right side spot and passes well on serve receive too. You can put her in the lineup and she will help your squad. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Blank is a BIG presence at the net! Gets touches blocks at the net with her length. Has a big arm and is looking to swing hard when you set her. Can play MB or RS hitter spots. Have seen her play multiple times and her team looks to feed her for kills. Sophia can play and can be dangerous at the net. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">I've seen Fevold play a couple of times. A really great setter who can run your squad. Soft hands and makes the setting look easy. Hitters always get a swing off of Fevold's sets. Good feet moves really well. Just a highly skilled player who you can tell has been taught well and she understands the game. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Eden can really hurt you from that OH position. Athletic, smart and can hurt you with various hits and tips. Moves very well and can really play. Can crush the ball when she gets her set, and sometimes looks like she stretches even higher than you think she can go for smart tips and throws. Not just athletic but smart too. Can fool you with the tip when defenses think shes swinging hard. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sydney has a nice vertical and really can put a swing on you at the net. She can swing anywhere from that front row and gets on top of the ball fast. Good swing seems to always get her swings through the block, good power, can also spray the ball all around the court. Athletic, good player. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Plays high school ball for Edwardsville at that OH position. Looks to be about 5 ft 11, has good ball control skills can pass well and gives you good hits from that OH spot. Smart hitter who can hit it down on you, but, hits the corners well and looks for openings to hit the ball too. Nice cross court serve ... just seems to be a complete player. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Really good setter here with soft hands and a good feel for the position and the game. Such good timing with her sets ... great footwork which helps make the sets look easy. Moves and jumps well but so smoothly when making sets to her teammates. Can deliver all the sets, jumping back sets, quick sets to the middle you name it she can do it. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Aubree does a nice job for her squad. She plays that S/RS hitter role for her squad. Nice hands when setting teammates and can give you good swings on the OPP. side! Gets her hands on the ball during block attempts. Has a nice touch with short serves and good accuracy while serving. </p>
