About Francesca

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart offensive and defensive player. Move ball around with good connection to hitters. Quick on defense. Good court energy and voice.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very outgoing and positive. Even in difficult times smiling and encouraging. Love cheering my teammates on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Volunteer for Illinois special Olympics. Spanish national honor society member. Breakfast of champions award freshman year of high school. Human relations award Freshman year of high school. American legion award 8th grade. Bring it award at Wisconsin volleyball camp.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a leader on and off court. I am an assistant to the special Olympics basketball team at my school. I have been chosen as team captain at both high school and club multiple times. I volunteer at school events. I am part of a peer leadership group at my school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Working my way up in club to get to the top team. Worked extra hours in and outside of the gym on my skills and the overall volleyball IQ. Spend time on my confidence and self awareness in order to reach my full potential

What type of college are you looking for?

High academic school with a good program for education or therapy. I want to be part of a program that is active in the school environment and supports other athletics at the school.

This is peak volleyball nerdism, but watching Francesca Fevold Francesca Fevold Francesca Fevold 5'9" | S/DS/L St. Charles (East) | 2028 State IL set is a little bit like watching a dance.  She has bounce to her, she’s in rhythm, and her footwork is really strong with how she receives the ball to her release.  I like how she is looking to jump set, she is looking to speed up the game.  She can utilize multiple tempos going to attackers in front and behind her where this team can be very dangerous with their balance.
