The more I watch this 2030 class, the more certain names keep showing up in my notes. Different teams, different positions, and different reasons, but I find myself coming back to these players. Maybe it's a play at the net, how they handle a tough ball, the way they see the court, or simply how involved they are from one rally to the next. At this age, I'm not looking for a finished player. I'm looking for the pieces that make me want to watch again. This next group has given me those moments throughout the fall, and they've earned another look as we continue building the North Dakota 2030 watchlist.

[player_tooltip player_id='1047644' first='Tatum' last='Elsperger'] is one of those middles who keeps working even when the ball isn't coming her way. I like watching what she does between contacts. She is getting off the net, working to get available again and staying involved instead of waiting around for the next perfect set. Her hustle fits the middle position perfectly because so much of that job doesn't end up in the stat line. Tatum keeps giving me little reasons to look back at her court. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

With [player_tooltip player_id='1047639' first='Isabella' last='Hernandez'], I keep coming back to how she handles herself on the court. She listens, responds, and gets right back to work. For a young middle, I like seeing a player who can take information and try to apply it, rather than letting a mistake carry over into the next rally. A lot happens quickly in the middle, and Isabella stays engaged. That coachability, along with the work she is putting in at the net, is something I want to keep following. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1047638' first='Calla' last='Irey'] has a steadiness about her that I like from a setter. Not every first contact will land perfectly on her forehead, and I watch what a young setter does when it doesn't. Calla works to get to the ball and give her hitters something they can work with. Just as important, she stays connected to the players around her. Setters have to bring people together, communicate, and move on quickly from mistakes, and I'm seeing pieces of that in Calla. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

There is some fight in [player_tooltip player_id='1021332' first='Kambrin' last='Lindeman']'s game. She hustles after second balls and doesn't seem very interested in giving up on a play because the first contact wasn't clean. That's something I notice with setters. The easy ball tells you one thing; watching them chase a pass toward the sideline and still try to create an attack tells you something else. Kambrin competes through those situations and keeps working to give her team another chance. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1047539' first='Haylee' last='Lueck'] brings energy to the backcourt. She's active, always moving, and willing to do the hard work that comes with playing defense. What I like is that the effort doesn't seem dependent on whether the play is coming directly at her. She stays involved, works around her teammates, and keeps looking for where she can help. That team-first approach to defense is what makes Haylee a name I keep coming back to. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1024262' first='Autumn' last='Silbernagel'] is another defender whose value isn't measured by one big dig. I like the way she competes through rallies and stays ready for the next contact. She has been getting meaningful defensive opportunities this fall, and I keep noticing the effort she puts into making a playable touch rather than simply getting a hand on the ball. She brings toughness to the backcourt, and she looks comfortable doing the work that lets everyone else do their jobs. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='1047610' first='Quin' last='Schwab'] brings a different dynamic because she can do more than set. She is listed as a setter/right side, and I like that versatility in a young player. When she's setting, I'm watching how she runs the court and works with her hitters. When her role changes, she still finds ways to contribute. That willingness to do what her team needs rather than being tied to one job is something I appreciate, and it gives Quin another layer as I continue watching her. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
