3/4A Standouts at State

We were in attendance for the entirety of class 4A and all but the quarterfinals of 3A. We got to see some really close sets and some outstanding performances from players. Let's take a look at some players who really stood out and helped their team in a big way.     [player_tooltip player_id='739626' first='Joslyn' last='Parker']- Middle Blocker for Holland Hall. We knew a couple years ago that Joslyn had the potential to be a playmaker and she was exactly that at state for the Dutch. She pressed over the net and had a few BIG TIME blocks that kept breathing life into her team.   [player_tooltip player_id='960039' first='Leeya' last='Mcdaniel']- Outside Hitter for Heritage Hall. Leeya is and will be an absolute unit the next two years for the Chargers. Her footwork and approach allow her to be available and swing big. She is one of the best players in all of 4A. What she   [player_tooltip player_id='899736' first='Brooke' last='Ripley']- Outside Hitter for OCS. I was very impressed with Brooke. She still has two years of growth and development. She took huge swings, attacked hands and didn't back down from big moments. Her and OCS will be a problem for the foreseeable future. Them and MSM will be a match to circle next year! Olivia Roper- Middle Blocker for Weatherford. Weatherford and company had a tough first round draw but they fought hard and earned plenty of respect. Olivia was a staple for the Eagles all season and state was no exception. Her ability to impact the game goes beyond just points she scores. Her leadership, hustle and energy bring out a better version of the entire team.   [player_tooltip player_id='903893' first='Haddie' last='Goldfarb']- Setter for Cascia Hall. I remember being at their opening match of the season where she came off the bench and created a huge spark. Ultimately there was a shift of momentum and energy, Cascia went on to cruise past Collinsville the rest of that match. At state, Haddie looked calm and confident. All those moments till that point had prepared her to help propel her team to the state championship match.   [player_tooltip player_id='905674' first='Charly' last='Jones']. Right Side Hitter for Community Christian. This lefty is just a freshman but she made some senior level plays. She is a tough one to defend when she is able to power it down the line or go deep cross corner. Colleges need to make note of her.   Congrats to every team and player that punched their ticket to state and we wish those seniors an amazing future ahead.   We also have our winter showcase on the horizon and registration is open. We already currently have 35+ players registered. We also have a multitude of ranked players from both Oklahoma and Arkansas signed up.
