She is a dynamic attacker with an impressive combination of athleticism, power, and versatility that makes her difficult to defend. Hitting an outstanding .373 while averaging a whopping 4.9 kills per set, her production is simply incredible. She is the type of player who can take over a match and will certainly be one to watch as section play gets underway.

Meagher is another athletic and extremely versatile pin hitter who knows how to make things happen at the net. She reads the block exceptionally well and makes smart decisions with every swing. With her quickness and impressive vertical, she can go up and over the block, find the seams, tool blockers for points, or mix in an off speed shot to keep defenders guessing. Her ability to score in so many different ways makes her incredibly difficult to stop. Averaging nearly 3 kills per set while hitting just under .300, Meagher has proven to be an efficient and dangerous attacker who will be fun to watch during section play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1055969' first='Paisley' last='Thooft'] is a powerful attacker who has left plenty of opposing teams stunned with her ability to put the ball away. With a big swing and an aggressive approach at the net, Thooft is the type of hitter who can take control of a match and make life difficult for opposing defenses. She has racked up an impressive 238 kills so far this season, along with 112 digs and 56 blocks, proving she can make an impact on both sides of the ball. Her combination of power, offensive production, and presence at the net makes her a player to keep an eye on as section tournament action gets underway.

Dannen is an impressive opposite who brings a great combination of athleticism, power, and versatility to the court. She transitions quickly, tracks the ball exceptionally well over her shoulder, and can unleash a powerful swing that makes her difficult to defend. She is also effective attacking out of the back row, giving her team another offensive weapon, and does a solid job getting her hands on the ball at the net. This season, Dannen has put together an impressive stat line with 218 kills, 181 digs, and 28 blocks. Her ability to contribute in so many areas makes her a valuable all around player and one to watch heading into section play.

Temple has shown tremendous growth in her game over the past year, and it was evident when I watched her play against Ely. I was impressed with the improvement in her range, consistency, and overall command of the offense. She does a solid job locating her attackers, delivering hittable balls, and putting her hitters in positions to be successful. She also isn't afraid to take matters into her own hands, attacking the ball herself and keeping opposing defenses on their toes. Her development as a setter has been impressive, and she is another player I'm looking forward to watching as section play gets underway.

[player_tooltip player_id='828239' first='Hallie' last='Hunter'] is always fun to watch, and once again, I had the opportunity to see her competitive nature on full display at a recent tournament in Chaska. I've typically watched Hunter play in the middle, but she proved just how versatile she is as she was lighting it up from the outside. She is a dynamic attacker who brings intensity, athleticism, and a competitive fire to the court every time she plays. Averaging 3.3 kills per set with a .239 hitting percentage, Hunter has been a major offensive weapon for her team. But her contributions go well beyond attacking. She has also recorded 42 aces and 173 digs while handling the bulk of her team's serve receive responsibilities. Hunter continues to impress with her versatility and competitive drive and I can't wait for another opportunity to see her in action in the post season.
