The Power 7 of the Week: Class of 2027

Colorado's Class of 2027 continues to bring plenty of talent to the court! This week's Power 7 features athletes who are making their mark in different ways, from creating problems for opposing defenses at the net to keeping rallies alive in the back row. With senior seasons heating up and players continuing to show what makes their games stand out, these seven athletes have earned a spot on our radar. Let's take a closer look at this week's lineup!

Adelaide Griest | MB

Griest is putting together a strong senior season, continuing to prove why she belongs among this week's Power 7! She brings a big presence to the middle and gives opposing teams plenty to think about whenever she moves into attack. Her ability to make an impact at the net keeps her a threat throughout the match, and she continues to show why she is an important piece of her team's front row. With her senior year underway, Griest is making the most of her opportunities and giving us another reason to keep watching her game!

Kendall Anderson | MB

Anderson has become a key piece of Colorado Academy's offense, and she brings confidence to the role! At 6'1", she has the reach to challenge a block, but her game is about more than simply swinging hard. Anderson can change up her attack depending on what the defense gives her, whether that means going aggressively through the block or using a softer shot to find open floor. That ability to recognize opportunities and make smart decisions makes her a tough hitter to prepare for. She brings both presence and purpose to the net, making her a strong addition to this week's Power 7!

Vera Porter | OH

Porter continues to show off the quick, dynamic attacking ability that makes her an exciting player to follow! Although she is currently playing middle hitter for Valor at the high school level, her film also shows what she can do as an outside hitter. She brings a fast arm and a quick windup, allowing her to get into her swing without wasting much time. Additionally, Porter can work the corners and use her speed to make attacks difficult to read. Her ability to contribute from different spots on the court gives her plenty of versatility, and we are excited to keep following how her game translates across positions!

Jayda Nothdurft | OH

Nothdurft has an attacking approach that flows naturally, helping her build momentum as she moves toward the ball. At 6'0", she combines that smooth footwork with a quick approach that allows her to get up and challenge opposing blocks consistently. Once she gets going, her arm brings plenty of snap behind the ball, making her a difficult hitter to contain when she finds her rhythm. On top of that, her attacking tools give her exciting potential as she looks toward the next level. Nothdurft is a name we are happy to have in this week's Power 7, and we look forward to seeing what comes next!

Genevieve Forsman | DS/L

Forsman brings a disciplined, alert presence to the back row! She stays engaged with the play and is prepared to react whether an opponent attacks down the line, targets a deep corner, or tries to sneak a tip over the block. That readiness helps her cover different areas of the court and keep her team organized defensively. Meanwhile, Forsman continues to gain attention on our radar as she shows what she can bring to the libero and defensive specialist roles. Her ability to stay focused and respond to a variety of attacks makes her a player worth following as the season continues!

Sienna Ludlam | RS

Ludlam is a true utility player, but this week, we are highlighting her as a right side! Her beach volleyball background shows through in the range of skills she brings indoors. She can attack, block, contribute in serve receive, and step in to set when her team needs another option. That willingness to do a little bit of everything gives her added value across the court. Additionally, Ludlam brings strong blocking ability to the right side, where she can help challenge opposing attackers at the net. Her versatility and fearlessness make her a fun player to feature, and she has earned her place in this week's Power 7!

Pretra Rohlinger | Setter

Rohlinger brings a quick tempo to the offense, keeping opposing defenses working to figure out what is coming next! She can distribute the ball at speed and help create an attack that is difficult to read, giving hitters opportunities before blockers have time to get fully organized. That fast-paced approach adds another layer to her team's offense, especially when she keeps the timing sharp and the ball moving. Rohlinger's ability to control the rhythm and create options for her attackers makes her a setter to watch. When an offense can move quickly and keep its opponents guessing, every point becomes a little more challenging to defend!

Livianna Aguilar | Lib/DS

Aguilar is coming off one of her strongest performances of the season, and she is giving us plenty of reasons to keep her on the radar! During University's win over Eaton, she recorded eight digs per set, showing just how much of an impact she can make defensively. Aguilar plays with a scrappy, determined style and stays ready for whatever comes her way. Additionally, she takes charge in the back row and helps her team maintain its rhythm by keeping plays alive and staying engaged through each rally. That combination of energy, awareness, and defensive effort makes Aguilar a name to know as the season continues!

Seven Names to Keep on the Radar

This week's Power 7 brings a mix of attacking presence, versatility, smart setting, and defensive determination. Griest and Anderson give their teams options at the net, while Porter and Nothdurft bring exciting attacking tools. Forsman and Aguilar help keep the ball alive in the back row, and Ludlam's all-around skill set gives her value in multiple roles. Meanwhile, Rohlinger's quick offensive tempo adds another dimension to the lineup.

The Class of 2027 continues to give Colorado volleyball plenty of talent to follow, and we are excited to see how these athletes finish out their seasons and continue building their games!

For more Colorado volleyball coverage, player features, recruiting content, and more, follow @prepdigcolorado on Instagram!
