The Pin Party: 2027 PINS RANKED

The Class of 2027 pin rankings are officially here! The outside and right-side hitters in this group have been making plays all over Colorado. Now, they have earned their spots on the rankings.

Some bring heavy swings. Others win with smart shot selection, athleticism, or versatility. Meanwhile, several can handle the pressure when the rally gets messy.

These are the pins we have been watching. Now, they are officially RANKED!

#1 Landry Roberts | OH

Roberts has a way of making tough plays look manageable! When a rally starts to fall apart, she does not rush into a low-percentage swing. Instead, she takes a beat, reads what is available, and makes the best play.

That composure can be a huge advantage for an outside hitter. Roberts understands when to be aggressive and when to keep the ball moving. She also gives her team stability in serve receive.

Those pieces make her more than an offensive option. She can help steady a rally from the back row, then turn around and make an impact at the net.

That complete game has helped Roberts rise to the top of this class. She is officially the No. 1 ranked pin in Colorado's Class of 2027!

#3 Reagan Bayley | OH

Give Bayley a difficult ball, and she is still ready to swing! That willingness to stay available has become one of the most valuable parts of her game.

She does not need a perfect pass to get involved. Bayley can build her approach quickly and take on a block, even when the offense is scrambling. Defenses may know where the ball is headed, but stopping her is another challenge.

Her impact also stretches into the back row. Bayley continues to compete after her attacking opportunity is over. That keeps her involved through every phase of the rally.

A pin who can handle pressure and stay aggressive is tough to find. Bayley has earned her place at No. 3 in the Colorado Class of 2027 rankings!

#4 Emery Johnson | OH

Johnson has been making her senior season count! She stepped into the year with the kind of confidence you want from a veteran pin, and her offense has followed.

There is plenty of intent behind her swing. Johnson can attack with power, but she also knows when to change the shot. That makes her less predictable once the block gets set.

She can also create pressure before the attack even happens. Her serve adds another weapon, while her overall presence gives Fossil Ridge a dependable competitor.

A strong start, senior leadership, and an aggressive offensive game have put Johnson firmly in the mix. She is officially ranked No. 4 in the 2027 Colorado pin rankings!

#6 Evelyn Cheatham | OH

Cheatham has become one of those hitters defenses have to account for early! She gives Golden a legitimate scoring option whenever she gets a chance to attack.

What makes her especially interesting is the variety in her offense. Cheatham is not locked into one look at the net. She can find different areas of the court and adjust when a defense takes something away.

That creates a tough guessing game for opponents. Commit too much to one option, and Cheatham can find another. Give her space, and she can take advantage.

Her range as a scorer has made her a major piece of Golden's offense. That impact has earned Cheatham the No. 6 spot in the Colorado Class of 2027 rankings!

#7 Breck Deruiter | RS

Deruiter is a right side with plenty of offensive upside! Her size gives her an immediate presence, but the way she moves makes the matchup even more interesting.

She gets into her approach quickly and brings serious arm speed to the ball. That pace allows her to attack tempo sets without losing her aggression.

There is also more happening in her game than what she does at the net. Deruiter reads the court well and shows strong awareness when she moves into the back row.

That mix of physical tools and feel for the game makes her a fascinating 2027 prospect. Deruiter has officially earned the No. 7 spot in the Colorado rankings!

#8 Bailey Beh | OH

Beh is the kind of pin who can keep finding ways to help! She may start a rally with a pass, then become part of the attack a few touches later.

Her offensive decision-making is another piece to watch. Beh does not simply swing into whatever is in front of her. She looks at the block and chooses where the ball needs to go.

That mindset gives her options. She can attack open court, use the blocker's hands, or stay patient when the defense takes away her first choice.

Because she contributes in so many moments, Beh has become a valuable name in this class. She has officially earned the No. 8 ranking in Colorado's Class of 2027!

#14 Anaya Wright | OH

Rampart can turn to Wright when it needs offense! She has embraced a big role for the team and continues to look comfortable taking on important swings.

Her attacking game has plenty of punch. Wright can challenge a block with confidence and stay aggressive when the match gets tight.

Just as importantly, she has the experience to handle that responsibility. As a senior, she brings a level of maturity that can matter when a team needs someone to step up.

Wright has given us plenty of reasons to keep her on our radar. Now, that attention has turned into a No. 14 ranking in the Colorado Class of 2027!

#16 Sofia Screaton | OH

There is something exciting about seeing Screaton back in the mix! She gives Colorado volleyball another versatile pin to watch in the 2027 class.

She has the tools to make an impact without needing to dominate every rally. Screaton can attack with confidence, stay involved after the swing, and adjust as the play develops.

That versatility is especially intriguing as she settles back into competition. There is plenty of room for her game to continue building from here.

For a player making her return, earning a spot this high says plenty. Screaton is officially ranked No. 16 in Colorado's Class of 2027!

#19 Gabriella Speckman | OH/MB

Speckman can make a block look a lot smaller than it is! That shot variety makes her attack harder to settle into.

She is also taking on more responsibility for Lutheran. That leadership role pairs nicely with the confidence she shows at the net.

When power and court awareness come together, you get a pin worth tracking. Dixon does not need to force every opportunity. She can make smart attacking decisions and stay productive over the course of a match.

That consistency has been especially valuable during an undefeated start. She continues to take on responsibility without letting the moment get too big.

Experience matters, and Dixon has plenty of it.
