Five 2027 setters/defensive specialists making nice plays

A player can make a nice pass then take a swing, but can't touch the ball two times in a row. Knowles squares her arms to balls even when lunging to the side. Knowles moves up quickly to get to tipped balls. Knowles makes the simple passes and has an outstanding touch on bump and overhead passes. Logan swings arms out to get to balls and executes sound bump and overhead passes. Logan handles well-struck crosses and is not afraid to dive to keep plays alive after quickly reading hitters. Logan puts over hard, line drive serves including ones over back row defenders that paint back lines. Scales communicates well with teammates in the back row and makes crisp first touches. Scales stops in her tracks and makes quick touches on balls. Scales mixes upl ocations with her hard line drive serves. Fields does a good job executing both long and short sets trying to put the hitters in position to put balls down. Fields goes up and records timely solo blocks and is very active on defense. Zazueta landed a number of kills with deceptive setter dumps. She makes quick touches on her sets and executes a variety of shor and long sets.
