Stephan is rangy and athletic; she moves her feet easily to beat the ball, and she delivers quality sets to a group of Lynden attackers who know how to put it away.
This could be Cashmere's year at the 1A level; Diaz does an outstanding job running a fast offense and knowing where and when to find her best attacker in crucial moments. The Bulldogs defeated league and state rival Chelan earlier this season; Diaz had 40 assists in the 3-0 sweep.

Chelan has had to find different ways to win this season- and they have, with Foyle running the show from the setter spot. An excellent sand player, the 6'1" Foyle has had the opportunity to show off the full range of her skills on the court. She has had dominant matches at the net when she is operating in the 5-1; her height, timing, and high volleyball IQ let her score as both an attacker and blocker. Foyle has been creative in finding her attackers in favorable match-ups- it's a different Chelan squad after multiple seasons with Olivia Strandberg and/or Brynn Hughbanks pounding down kills, and Foyle has found ways to help her young attackers find kills.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='593886' first='Parker' last='Davis'], from Spokane, has Gonzaga Prep in position to make a deep run at the state tournament. Davis has a talented group of attackers to feed out of the Bullpups' 5-1 offense, and Prep can expect challenges from Kamiakin and others in the district as the postseason approaches. Davis is a location-first setter who isn't afraid to reverse the flow or set the pipe when she needs to get creative. She has the height to score at the net and is a tough customer at the service line, creating a positive chance for her team to score with a challenging jump float delivery.
