Stephan was able to step right in as a 5-1 setter for Lynden as a freshman, and the team was highly competitive in a very solid Northwest league. The rising sophomore played for Apex NW Volleyball Club , and the team was a difficult challenge for opponents with Stephan running the offense. She has strong hands, sound footwork, and an advanced feel for the game. Stephan is a talented multi-sport athlete who may not be done growing- she is one to watch as the rankings progress.

The Lynden prospect gave a terrific effort on the court all tournament. She was all out hustle chasing down the second ball and would sprawl out to pop up a dig or deflection. Stephan looked terrific running a 5-1 at The Pacific Northwest Qualifier. She has the height to be effective as a blocker, and she made life easy on her attackers, feeding them a hittable set on the pins and in the middle.

Stephan steps into the important setter position on a team used to making post-season noise. The Lions have plenty of talent around the 5’9″ 2028 prospect, and Stephan is racking up assists by spreading the ball around to her attackers. A smooth operator with clean hands, Stephan works out of a 5-1 and is already dropping crafty left-handed attacks to score on two.
