12 Underclassmen Ready for Nebraska’s State Tournament Spotlight

Of course, we're treated to the incredible final acts of the senior class every November. However, the state tournament also comes with a wave of newcomers ready to become the future leaders of Nebraska's prep scene.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We can't wait to see who's next in line. Her 0.321 hitting clip is near the top of Nebraska's sophomore leaderboards, and she has over three-and-a-half kills per set to go along with it. Kuchera is not the only 2029 athlete to watch from the Knights, so keep tabs on this Bassett group in Thursday's quarterfinals. But we couldn't pass up the staggering 140 blocks that Kuchera has tallied this year, leading the entire state in that category. Kuchera also doesn't need to produce a straight-down roof to have a positive influence.
