These players are bringing different strengths to the court, and we cannot wait to see what they do with their next opportunity!

Avery Fritz | Setter

Avery Fritz is always ready for the next ball. Whether the pass lands perfectly or sends her racing away from the net, she has a good feel for how the play is developing. That awareness allows Fritz to stay composed and keep the offense moving. She is also not afraid to change the tempo when the moment calls for it. Sometimes that means speeding things up, while other times she can shift the offense in a new direction. That creativity makes Fritz a fun setter to watch. As club season gets closer, we are excited to see how she continues to build on that court vision and confidence.

Anastasia Lawrence | DS/L

Anastasia Lawrence brings plenty of speed to the back row. When a ball heads toward the deep corner, she is ready to chase it down and keep the rally alive. More importantly, Lawrence is already showing strong reading ability. She is not simply reacting after the ball is hit. Instead, she is actively watching the play and preparing for what could come next. That is an exciting quality for a young defender. Lawrence is already giving us reasons to keep her on the radar, and her upcoming club season should give her even more chances to show what she can do.

[player_tooltip player_id='1014017' first='Alyssa' last='Hurtado'] | OH

[player_tooltip player_id='1014017' first='Alyssa' last='Hurtado'] may not be a new name, but she is certainly an exciting one! Hurtado brings a quick, snappy swing that immediately catches your eye. Her approach is already strong, and she gets into her attack with confidence. There is also a veteran feel to the way she swings. Hurtado is not hesitant when she gets her opportunity. Instead, she looks ready to make something happen with the ball. That attacking confidence will be fun to watch as club season gets underway. Hurtado is already on our radar, and we are excited to see her continue building her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1011114' first='Hattie' last='Kate Lewis'] | DS/L

[player_tooltip player_id='1011114' first='Hattie' last='Kate Lewis'] brings a gritty edge to the back row. She plays with the kind of energy that makes it feel like she has been doing this for years. Lewis is quick to the ball and eager to keep the rally alive. Even when a play gets messy, she stays involved and keeps working. That competitive mindset can make a huge difference for a defender. At the same time, she has a strong foundation in her defensive form. Lewis combines that technique with plenty of movement and energy, which gives her game a fun balance. We are excited to see what this upcoming club season brings for her!

Teagan Sommerfeld | MB

Teagan Sommerfeld is a high-reaching middle with plenty of potential. She already shows a nice feel for where to attack, especially when she can work the ball toward the corners. Then, when she gets her opportunity, Sommerfeld is not afraid to snap the ball down. That aggressive contact gives her attack some serious pop. Coming off a strong middle school season, she has plenty of momentum heading into club. Now, we get to see how she builds on that foundation against new competition. Sommerfeld is absolutely a 2031 name to know, and we will be keeping an eye on her this season.

The 2031 Club Season Is Calling!

The club season is just getting started, and this Class of 2031 already has plenty of energy around it.
