Expert Analysis
Grace Yoder | Prep Dig Scout
We have had our eyes on Alyssa Hurtado for the last several months, and she is a rising star who continues to elevate her game. Hurtado stands out because of the beach volleyball experience she brings to the indoor court. Competing in beach has helped develop her vertical and added another level of explosiveness and power to her game. It has also strengthened her volleyball IQ, forcing her to read the court, make quick decisions, and become a more well rounded player. As she continues to compete in both, Hurtado’s beach background is only adding to her growth as an athlete.
