She showed variety with roll shots and line attacks, adjusting to the set and keeping the defense guessing. One sequence highlighted her transition into the offense: after receiving a serve in zone 5, she moved into the middle for a quick “one” attack. From zone 4, Nowak added multiple kills, giving GV Christian a scoring threat who could change both her shot and her point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1009438' first='Josie' last='Roybal'], a sophomore outside hitter for GV Christian, showed her ability to attack from either pin against Founders Classical Academy. Her offense stood out, particularly in how she responded when an attack did not go her way. On one sequence, Somers took a strong swing into the block, covered the ball herself, and stayed ready to attack again. She continued swinging through mistakes and found success tooling the block for kills. Costello varied her placement between short and deep areas of the court, making it difficult for Lincoln County to anticipate where the ball would land.
