Southern 4A playoff Round 1 – Mater Academy East vs Coral Academy

Mater Academy East and Coral Academy both finished second in their respective divisions, ending the regular season on winning streaks and looking to carry that momentum into the first round.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The match was a defensive battle, with hitters on both sides swinging aggressively while opposing defenses worked to keep the ball alive. Coral Academy started strong, showing control and strong defense to win the first set 25–14. On one play, her attack was blocked, but after the ball was covered, she received another set and tipped just over the block, catching the defense off guard.
