Wadsworth advanced to the regional final round a season ago before bowing out to the eventual DII state champions in Avon. With a 3-1 win over Avon in the regional semis, Wolf had 23 digs as Wadsworth earned their revenge. The Grizzlies now have their own chance to make a statement on the final weekend as they prepare to take on #5 ranked Kings. Sophomore <strong>Lucy Waleskowski</strong> was fantastic as well as she dished 50 assists to balance her defensive effort of 19 digs while she added seven kills. The elder Waleskowski has put together a career best season as she finished second in the GGCL offensively as provides 3.6 k/s. She is an engaged floor leader as she displays a lot of confidence and support for her team, which has been a big factor for her as a freshman and towards their hopes of a state title.
