It's the final day of June, so it's a good opportunity to get back to our Prospect Roulette for the Class of 2028.

Here's how it works. We take the 100 prospects in our Class of 2028 and randomize the numbers. Whatever 10 numbers get landed on, we provide a little info on that player. Let's get things started.

61. [player_tooltip player_id='644221' first='Addison' last='DeVries'], S Grandville/FaR Out

DeVries already had a strong defensive background, but is now taking those skills into the setting role. She maintains great leadership ability, while being able to smoothly operate an offense. DeVries looks very comfortable at setter and has show she can place the ball in great position for her hitters.

30. [player_tooltip player_id='579822' first='Addison' last='Dresch'], S Dexter/L2

Dresch has done a good job of picking up her pace of play and adding new elements to her setting repertoire. She's always challenging herself and not afraid to try some new and difficult things to improve on her overall game. Dresch is a prospect that is progressing at a solid rate to become a next-level talent.

21. [player_tooltip player_id='807820' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'], OH Romeo/Michigan Elite

A hitter that is putting the state on notice, Bultynck has some of the most consistent power on her swings. She can make the most out of an out-of-system ball as well. Along with her strong offensive skillset, Bultynck is showing that she can be a top defensive asset as well, making her a solid all-around prospect.

69. [player_tooltip player_id='490037' first='Hadley' last='Humphrey'], S St. Francis/Northshore

Humphrey has a lot of intangibles that translate well into the setter position. She's got good length at the net and has a lot of spring in her step. She's been more instinctive as she's gotten more reps leading an offense. Humphrey's choices also show improvement and have led to more consistent results.

43. [player_tooltip player_id='579164' first='Ava' last='Rewalt'], OH/DS Richmond/Michigan Elite

Rewalt is becoming a real handful for opponents to deal with, as her gritty defense has combined with a steady offensive attack to make her a reliable six-rotation option. Rewalt does a good job of staying within herself and making a lot of high-IQ plays while maintaining consistent power on her attacks.

15. [player_tooltip player_id='908353' first='Kenna' last='Deters'], MB Byron Center/FaR Out

Deters has played against many of the top middles in the state and held her own. She was a major driving force for the Byron Center offense last fall and her high finishing rate should make her one of the top middles in the upcoming 2026 fall season. Deters has the length and footwork to be a dominant player.

98. [player_tooltip player_id='810445' first='Ahlanna' last='Thomas'], MB Lakewood

Thomas can play on the outside as well, but her biggest impact looks to be felt in the middle. She's got an upright swing that generates a lot of pop, while being able to adjust her placement to keep defenses guessing. As she keeps getting quicker with her play and pacing, it should take her game to another level.

7. [player_tooltip player_id='834311' first='Kinsley' last='Whitfield'], DS/L Byron Center

Another promising young talent from Byron Center, Whitfield has been able to contribute in any way her teams need her. While being an elite defender, Whitfield also has a technically smooth swing to put the ball away at the net or from the back row. The game seems to come easy to her and more big things are ahead for Whitfield in 2026.

55. [player_tooltip player_id='578487' first='Aubrielle' last='Shina'], RS/OH Rochester/High Performance

This 6'2” hitter has a big ceiling, as she combines it with quickness and a good vertical to be a very disruptive player at the net. Her blocking is really coming along, but her emphatic kills can turn a match on its head. This fall should be a great breakout opportunity for her as her confidence grows.

75. [player_tooltip player_id='808183' first='Lena' last='Lancaster'], OH/DS Vicksburg/Dead Frog

Lancaster is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on. She's been steadily producing for Vicksburg in previous years, but seems set to take her game up a notch in 2026. Her finishing rate keeps making big gains as she sees the court better and better. Lancaster also has become a more consistent defender.
