Jacocks (pictured) epitomizes the tough-nosed defense Notre Dame is known for. She stays on her feet and keeps balls above her hips making precise passes. Jacocks does not hesitate to lunge if needed, but consistently finds ways to better balls. Jacocks stays back on well-struck balls and moves forward with minimal steps to dig tips. Jacocks is just as consistent on serve receive. Jacocks sends across smooth float serves to different zones. Jacocks provided 15 Blue with sound out of system sets so hitters could smack down balls instead of having to put over free balls.

Stanfield has improved her touches at the setter spot throughout club season. She has made better decisions distributing the ball. She showed a lot of scrappiness on defense for Bourbon County in the fall. Stanfield reacts quickly trying to keep plays alive. Stanfield also showed effectiveness offensively. Stanfield takes her time and places balls away from opponents. A quicker arm swing is a good next step for Stanfield.
