7 Class of 2021 Athletes Who Shined at the Prep Dig Sizzle

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With the summer underway, all eyes are turning to the class of 2021. These incoming seniors have worked for years on their skills and leadership and it is their time to shine. Some of the biggest names in the state competed at the Prep Dig Sizzle. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The leadership of these incoming seniors was obvious throughout the tournament. Here are some of the Class of 2021 athletes who truly shined at the Sizzle!</span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="80712" first="Alexis" last="Boling"] (Prep Dig Rank #9, Committed to North Dakota State)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Alexis has always been a natural leader on the court but she truly shined at the Prep Dig Sizzle. She played a bit of everything including back row and on the pin. Not only did she lead by example, but her energy on the court was infectious. </span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="80722" first="Natalie" last="Tesch"] (Prep Dig Rank #22)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Natalie is an incredible athlete who has a high volleyball IQ and the skill to match. She connects with other players on the court and leads by example. Natalie works hard on every play and is incredibly smart. Younger athletes can learn a lot from watching her play. </span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="21869" first="Brooke" last="Mosher"] (Prep Dig Rank #1, Committed to Illinois)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When Brooke is on the court she is a force to be reckoned with. Whether she is setting, hitting, serving, or on defense, she is nearly unstoppable. Her raw talent coupled with natural leadership abilities makes her shine every single time she steps on the court. </span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="56429" first="Lizzie" last="Binder"] (Prep Dig Rank #3)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lizzie was a true leader at the Sizzle and showed just how dynamic of a player she is. Despite typically playing on the pin, Lizzie set for Sheboygan North throughout most of the Sizzle and did a great job. Her willingness to lead her team in a position she does not typically play shows exactly how valuable Lizzie is on and off the court. </span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="56452" first="Abby" last="Fregien"] (Prep Dig Rank #48)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Abby is a consistent and powerful six rotation outside for Waukesha West and has been since her freshman year. She shines on defense and serve receive and sees the court extremely well. Abby is a very smart player and hard worker who will be a critical athlete and leader for her team this year. </span></p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="80716" first="Anna" last="Holland"] (Prep Dig Rank #13, Committed to Seton Hall)</h3> <p>Another of Waukesha West’s truly stellar seniors. Anna is consistent and scrappy in the back row. She gets a touch on nearly everything and reads opposing hitters very well. Her ability to react to plays, scramble when necessary, and always keep the ball in play is downright impressive. </p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="80713" first="Cora" last="Behnke"] (Prep Dig Rank #11, Committed to Green Bay)</span></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cora is an all-around great volleyball player. She has a powerful swing in both the front and back row and plays lights-out defense. Cora is a fun athlete to watch play because she engages well with her teammates of all ages and is a great leader on the court. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All of these athletes are set to have a great senior season. They are all leaders on their teams and shined at the Sizzle. These athletes had a great impact on their teams at the Sizzle even from afar as I was reporting from home!
